CHALLENGE

O₂ and Apple aimed to deliver a unified message of empowerment and overcoming obstacles, encapsulating the theme of ‘You Can Achieve Anything.’ The challenge was to create a campaign that not only highlighted the power of determination and technology but also resonated across diverse media, showcasing individuals pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

SOLUTION

The campaign, developed by ServiceplanBubble for O₂, centered around a compelling story of an educator who learns a new language using Apple’s product range to help a young Japanese child integrate into a kindergarten. The narrative was brought to life through a cross-media approach, featuring a 35-second TV spot and an extended 73-second cinema version.

As Head of Brand at O₂, I facilitated and guided the collaboration with Apple, working closely with the Apple Marketing Team in Cupertino, CA. This involved presenting creative directions that evolved into the final commercial. Additionally, I supported the project through Brand Strategy and Brand Management, ensuring a cohesive brand narrative across all campaign elements.
